Overview

These Trim Relay Boards allow control of an aircraft’s trim motors from the typical switches found in most stick grips. As the switches in the grips are too small to handle the motor loads and usually do not have the required number of poles, the ‘TRB’ offers a simple, elegant solution that is easy to wire and understand. The boards have a per axis rating of 10A at 12 volts, (24V units are also available).

Easy to install, does the job. Quicker and tidier than knocking up a DIY relay module. Eliminates the need for a changeover switch to isolate pilot or copilot trim inputs.

Q: Are the wiring diagrams included with these single axis trim relay boards?

Yes, the wiring diagrams are included in the package. We have also added a PDF of the diagram to the Documents tab of this web page.

Q: Can a pilot trim switch and a co-pilot trim switch for the same axis be connected to this board?

Per the manufacturer: Answer is yes - not a problem. We might add that the pilot can also defeat the copilot by simply switching the common switch wire open.
