Blue Sky Network’s HE7200A and SkyRouter, the industry leading cloud-based web portal, meets or exceeds the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Global Aeronautical Distress Safety System (GADSS) required performance criteria for Transport Aircraft. Blue Sky Network can provide Operators with a “best-of-breed” complete ICAO GADSS solution to meet the expected requirements. This flexible platform will allow remote seamless upgrades to onboard hardware as the evolution of performance based criteria changes. The uniquely small form factor was designed to allow the unit to replace the required #2 ELT (a pending ICAO proposal), while still taking advantage of the three installed wires to the cockpit. Operators can log in to SkyRouter to view, control, and communicate with aircraft(s) anywhere in the world. Exploiting the power of SkyRouter will provide Operators with wide control and visibility of aircraft activity. In the circumstance where an aircraft has an abnormal event as defined by the Operator, SkyRouter will identify the event and route alerts as instructed by the Operator to inside or outside resources. With the occurrence of a distress event in flight, the Operator will receive alerts at an accelerated rate and can respond to the alert in a manner that is deemed appropriate—everything is customizable at the discretion of the Operator.
