Overview

Frequencies Covered
118-137 MHz

This sleek new design was developed for Cessna 182 and 182T aircraft. Impressive with its low-drag and good looks.

The first totally new look in VHF antennas in decades, the CI 248-5 was tested to some of the most rigorous requirements outlined in RTCA DO-160D. Designed for single engine and helicopter applications.

Truly unique, the CI 248-5 is the only VHF antenna with a built-in notch filter, that allows installation in close proximity to GPS antennas without co-sight interference.

Note: Comant Antennas no longer come with a gasket or template. Must order PN 09-05579 separately.

Applications
Single engine piston aircraft for applications of this antenna design. Consult your FBO or installation shop for best application information.

Q: the Comant antennas no longer come with the gaskets, and the part number they reference to buy is sealant. Are the antennas installed with out gaskets and just sealed with this sealant?

Yes, that is correct. The sealant is intended to be used instead of the gasket.
