Overview

Bond-Aide P-1500W is a wood epoxy putty compound that cures in minutes to form permanent repairs on woods, plaster, ceramics and many plastics with no shrinkage. For woodworking and hobby model use, Bond-Aide P-1500W is unique as it can be shaped to conform to the surface. After 30 minutes, it becomes part of the wood but is many times stronger. Like wood it is light in weight, can be drilled, sawed, nailed, carved, machined, sanded, stained and painted, all within 30 minutes. It is non-toxic and is quickly and safely readied for application without any mess. It will not drip or sag, and unlike conventional wood putties, P-1500W will not dry out, even after opening. Excellent for bonding wood to wood, wood to metal, and wood to glass or ceramics. P-1500W has a multitude of uses in aircraft restoration, rebuilding, and repair.

Reviews

I bought this to fill in a knothole in a wooden paddle I am carving. It hardened quickly and was easy to work after the fact. I still dont know if it will eliminate the stress riser and resist exposure to sea water, but think it likely will given that this product is used to repair wooden propellers. I will update this review after more experience.

Really good stuff! Hardens rather quickly but that is as advertised. A very strong bond for repairs and on wood repairs it sands very easily.

Q: Can this be used to fill a minor rock chip on a wood propeller?

This is not a structural filler, but it should work well for small non-structural repairs.
