A white rubber-based adhesive on cotton cloth. 1" wide, 60 yard rolls. Recommended as the best choice for smoothing sharp metal edges, rough joints, and all sharp corners under fabric covering. |
Just what I ordered
always purchase new tape when building as the glue can dry over time and not stick as well , this new tape applies well and is good stuff . . . .
I bought this tape to use on a skin-on-frame kayak. The intention was to put the tape on some of the abrupt corners and edges, so that the cloth/skin does not chafe on the wood frame. I found that the adhesive is not very good -- its barely sticks to the varnished wood that I was applying it to. I had to use spray-on adhesive in order to get it to stick sufficiently. The adhesive on this tape probably sticks better to metal, I would imagine. I think this will do the trick for my application, but beyond that, I think this tape has only marginal utility.
Approx 1/64 inches.
