Overview

If a new transponder is on your "to-get" list, you might want to choose one that's both relevant now and in the future. The KT 74 transponder from Bendix/King is the easiest upgrade for the popular KT 76A/C and KT 78A models, with a 'plug and go' capacity. And it's ADS-B compliant, therefore meeting all 2020 requirements. It is low-cost, easy to install and fits into your existing panel. Suiting your needs now and in the future.

Q: Will KT74 comply with Diversity or Future Canadian or European Adsb out standard?

Yes it will, as long as the unit is receiving WAAS GPS signal from a compatible source.

Q: I have an old Garmin GNC300XL GPS in my Sundowner. IS this unit compatible ?

No, the KT-74 is not compatible with the GNC-300XL.

Q: What is the difference between P/N 11-12038 and P/N 11-13299 on KT74?

Part # 11-12038 is the KT74 unit only and the Part # 11-13299 is the unit with a 4 foot harness.
